About

Frank Foreman has spent 35+ years ‘going to sea’ in ships as a licensed Marine Engineer. His Father and Uncle also spent time at sea. His uncle only During World War 2 and his father, from WW2 into the late 1980’s. As a young boy, he was running around on the docks in San Francisco, back in the 60’s when all the ships were docked along the Embarcadero.

He ended up going to sea as a profession.

He always dreamed of writing some of the “Sea Stories” he had heard over the years.

Recently, there has been quite a buzz in the news about preparations for “the big one” in the Pacific Northwest USA and that we are overdue.

He thought that this would be a good way to mesh the two topics together.

[Shameless Plug!]

Given enough encouragement, he hopes to be able to continue this series with subsequent voyages of the Motor Yacht (M.Y.) Southern Cross.
